The lingering glow of red: Inauemon Kiln's painted cup "Circus II" from Tamba Ware

Infusing the vessel with the heat of an exhilarating moment. This is the red version of the passionate "Circus" series, created by Takeshi Uenaka, the eleventh-generation potter who, while inheriting the tradition of Tamba ware, is active on the global stage in places like Paris and America. The design, with its warm-toned vertical gradient of red, pink, and orange, truly embodies the energy and passion of a circus finale. The subtle variations in color unique to hand-painting and the warmth of the clay instantly fill any table with a positive atmosphere.

A unique expression where tradition and modernity intersect
Based on the reliable techniques of the long-standing Inauemon Kiln, this cup, colored with a contemporary sensibility, exudes a presence that transcends a mere vessel, becoming an "art piece."

  • Switch on with your morning drink: The vibrant colors make your awakening more active. It's the perfect cup for starting your day positively.

  • For afternoon tea time: Enjoy your favorite black tea or herbal tea. The warm colors of the cup will soothe your soul and enliven conversation.

  • A centerpiece for your interior: Even when not in use, simply placing it on a shelf instantly brightens the space. We also recommend displaying it alongside the rainbow version to enjoy a feast of colors.

Carrying over 280 years of history, the colors are freely painted towards the future. Enjoy a dramatic moment with this energetic vessel that revitalizes you every time you hold it.

Due to the handmade nature of some products, there may be slight differences in color, shape, and size from the photos.
The "individual differences" inherent in ceramics (color unevenness, crazing, pinholes, iron spots, etc.) are natural textures intended by the artist and kiln, and do not constitute defects. We hope you will enjoy them as the "scenery" of a unique, one-of-a-kind piece, unlike mass-produced items.

As these are fragile items, they are carefully packaged. Please feel free to contact us with any questions.
