Regarding the product

We primarily handle unused second-hand goods (e.g., new old stock, dead stock). We also sell some previously used items. Please check each product page for the condition of the item.

No. In addition to used tableware, we also carry artisan pottery and new items. The condition of each item is described on its respective product page.

We verify each item individually, based on reference materials and staff expertise, while considering factors such as origin, artist, technique, and market price. Please note that some items cannot be authenticated.

Upon arrival, all vessels are inspected and washed by hand (using neutral detergent). If there is any blackening or dirt due to aging, additional cleaning is performed using baking soda or similar.

This varies depending on the material, firing method, and decoration of the vessel. Please check the product page, or if unsure, we recommend hand washing.

Regarding your order

If your order has not yet been prepared for shipping, cancellation may be possible. Please contact us as soon as possible.

Simple gift wrapping is available.

Yes, we can issue one. Please specify the addressee and a note in the "Remarks" field when placing your order.

Delivery will be made by our designated delivery company (mainly Yamato Transport).

Returns and Damages

Please contact us via "Inquiries" within 5 days of receiving the product. After confirmation, we will arrange for an exchange or refund.

Due to the nature of pre-owned items, we generally do not accept returns for customer reasons. Please contact us if the item significantly differs from the product description.

If the product is damaged or defective, please contact us within 5 days of its arrival. We may not be able to assist you after this period.

About Meguri Ware™ (Return System)

This is a circular system where you can return tableware purchased from our store. After returning the item, you will receive a point-back of up to 20% of the purchase price, depending on the product's condition (usable for your next purchase).

We offer coupons that can be used at Maison Toji, depending on the containers you return. Please see the Meguri Ware™ page for details.

You can return the items by bringing them to a physical store or by mailing them. Detailed instructions are available on the Meguri Ware™ page.

Severely damaged items or items in a condition that cannot be safely reused may not be eligible for return.

About our physical stores

Maison Toji's physical store is located in Megurohoncho, Meguro-ku, Tokyo. (Nearest station: Musashi-Koyama Station on the Tokyu Meguro Line, 6 minutes on foot) Please check the store page or Google Maps for the detailed address.

Some products can also be viewed in-store. As store space is limited, the product you are looking for may not be on display. If you wish to view a specific product, please contact us in advance via the "Inquiry Form."
