Capture the thrill of the curtain rising in a vessel. This is one of the passionate "Circus" series pieces created by Takeshi Kaminaka, the 11th generation potter, who continues the tradition of Tanba-yaki while working globally in places like Paris and America. The design features vibrant rainbow colors running vertically, perfectly capturing the splendor of a circus tent. The unique color variations created by hand-painting bring a joyful rhythm to your table.
A unique expression where tradition and modernity intersect.
Based on the reliable techniques of the Inaemon kiln, which has been passed down through generations, and colored with a contemporary sensibility, this cup transcends being just a vessel, exuding an presence as an "art piece."
For a blissful coffee time: The inside of the cup has a calming color, beautifully accentuating the deep brown of coffee. Enjoy the contrast with the colorful exterior.
For afternoon tea time: Enjoy your favorite black tea or herbal tea. The vibrant colors of the cup will enliven conversation and fill your heart with positivity.
As an interior accent: Even when not in use, simply placing it on a shelf brightens up the space. It's a highly collectible item that you'll want to display together.
With over 280 years of history, the colors are freely painted towards the future. Please enjoy a dramatic moment with this energetic vessel that will uplift you every time you hold it.

Please note that due to being handmade, some products may differ slightly from the photos in color, shape, and size. The "individual differences" characteristic of ceramics (color unevenness, crazing, pinholes, iron spots, etc.) are natural textures intended by the artist and kiln, and are not considered defects.
We hope you enjoy the "scenery" of a unique, one-of-a-kind vessel that mass-produced items do not possess.
As these are fragile items, we meticulously pack them. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
