Tamba ware is pottery with over 800 years of history, passed down mainly in Tanbasasayama City, Hyogo Prefecture. Mayuko Ichino, who presides over Asanogama kiln, learned pottery at her family's Shozanogama kiln before becoming independent and opening Asanogama kiln. Her style is characterized by layering adorable expressions on rustic Tamba clay, a characteristic of the younger generation. The flower-motif plate we are introducing this time is so "cute" it will make you exclaim.
The carefully shaped petal lines bring a gentle and elegant atmosphere to your table. Precisely because of their simple black and white colors, the gentle expressions unique to handmade items and the delicate shades of the glaze stand out beautifully, deepening your affection with each use.
The small plate is perfect not only for soy sauce and condiments but also for serving a single piece of chocolate or a cookie with your tea. The large plate is versatile and can be used for main dishes or as a cake plate.
You can choose from two sizes: small plates and large plates (approx. 21 cm), and two colors: white and black. If you collect different patterns, your table will be vibrant, and it's also recommended to use them according to the occasion.
