Tamba ware is pottery passed down primarily in Tanbasasayama City, Hyogo Prefecture. Taro Ichino of Gen-emon Kiln is an artist who has continued pottery for two generations, father and son. While preserving traditional Tamba ware, he excels in modern and charming designs such as polka dots, stripes, and checkerboard patterns. Among these, we have received a rounded mug with a puzzle pattern that shines with geometric interest.
Each puzzle pattern is hand-painted, resulting in individual differences in the arrangement of pieces and the expression of lines, allowing you to enjoy a unique look even with the same pattern.
The round form feels gentle on the lips and is perfect not only for coffee and tea but also as a soup cup.
Whether you choose your favorite single mug or arrange both colors side by side, it will look wonderful. We also recommend using them separately for couples or families.
