Inauemon Kiln continually pursues new expressions while preserving the tradition of Tamba ware. We've received an impressive mug featuring a lustrous jet-black glaze streaked with a vibrant crimson glaze.
The jet-black glaze, which seems to absorb light, is overlaid with bleeding crimson glaze lines, creating a powerful, one-of-a-kind landscape. No two mugs have the same appearance, allowing you to enjoy the charm of handcrafted artistry.
The sides of the vessel are gently faceted, causing shadows to shift depending on how the light hits it. It has a simple yet robust presence that fits comfortably in the palm of your hand.
At approximately 8cm x 8cm, it's the perfect size for coffee and tea, as well as cold sake or shochu on the rocks.
