A bowl from the popular series, adorned with charming dots around the rim.

Tamba ware is pottery with a history of more than 800 years, passed down primarily in Tamba-Sasayama, Hyogo Prefecture. Mayuko Ichino, who runs Asanogama, studied pottery-making at her family’s Shozo Kiln before setting out on her own and opening Asanogama. Her work has a youthful charm, layering playful dots and flowers over the rustic clay of Tamba.
