A generously sized rimmed plate with a colorful inlaid rim.

Tamba ware is pottery that has been passed down primarily in Tanba-Sasayama City, Hyogo Prefecture. Tetsuji Ichino of Ichino Satoru Kiln uses a unique technique called "saishiki sen-zogan" (colored line inlay), where he freehands patterns and fills them with colored clay. This technique allows him to create geometric and smooth lines, earning him numerous accolades, including acceptance into the Japan Traditional Craft Exhibition and the Hyogo Prefecture Arts Encouragement Award.

01. Colored line inlay accenting the rim

Blue, pink, and gray triangles add a quiet rhythm to the rim. The charm lies in the delicate and warm expression unique to freehand line inlay.

02. Brown center beautifully highlights the main dish

The center is brown, making the most of the clay's natural color. It's perfect for main dishes like meat, and salads also stand out beautifully.

03. Generous 24cm size for ample space

With a spacious diameter of approximately 24cm, it's also ideal for one-plate dishes.
