Black & Gold Rimmed White Matt Rice Bowl | Toko Kiln

Black drips infused with gold, and the serenity of a white matte finish.

We received rice bowls from Tokogama. These bowls feature a striking glaze design, with a black-tinged gold rim from which the glaze subtly drips down onto the white matte surface. The lightweight feel, a result of its thin construction, is also a charming feature.

01. Glaze with character, spreading from the rim like a seep

The expression of the glaze, which flows smoothly from the black-tinged gold rim down into the interior of the bowl, creates a unique landscape for each piece. This is the distinctive charm of handmade items, where no two are alike.

02. Lightweight feel from thin construction

The carefully thinned surface of the bowl is lighter than it appears and fits comfortably in the hand. It's finished to be a rice bowl that can be used daily without burden.

03. Two sizes to choose from, to fit your lifestyle

We offer a compact S size that fits comfortably in the hand, and an M size that can hold a substantial serving. You can choose the perfect bowl for each member of your family.
