Once, it was a tool for everyday life.
Now, it brings new light to the passage of time.
Two birds nestled together bring good fortune to your home.
This pendant light is crafted from a repurposed Shuhou Arita ware dish. The affectionate pair of birds has long been cherished as a traditional auspicious motif symbolizing marital harmony and good relationships. Green hand-painted designs stand out against the white porcelain, adding a gentle touch of elegance to your space. It also makes a thoughtful gift for someone special, whether for a housewarming or wedding.

[Upcycled Lighting] soiro | New light from fragments of tradition
Turning beauty that was destined to be discarded into light for everyday life.
soiro is an upcycled lighting brand that breathes new life into ceramic parts that never made it into finished products and materials that have served their purpose, sourced from regions with long histories of craftsmanship.
The brand name comes from the Japanese words for “the color of a material” and “a color that complements.” While making the most of the textures of materials created using traditional techniques, soiro reimagines them as minimalist lighting that fits naturally into modern homes. More than mere recycling, each piece embodies respect for its materials and a fresh aesthetic.
