A slender single-flower vase accented with small "ears."

Tamba ware is pottery that has been passed down mainly in Tamba Sasayama City, Hyogo Prefecture. Naosaku Shogen, who presides over Jikusaku kiln, is an artist who pursues shapes and sizes that fit modern life while cherishing traditional Tamba techniques. His distinctive style creates vessels that feel warm despite their dignified appearance, blending naturally into everyday life.

01. A landscape-like ash glaze expression

The natural flow of glaze envelops the upper part of the vessel, creating a unique landscape born from firing. Enjoy the handcrafted charm, where no two expressions are alike.

02. Small "ears" adorn the rim

Small ears added to the rim provide a lovely accent to the simple silhouette.

03. A slender silhouette perfect for a single flower

With a slender form of 15 cm in height, it beautifully highlights branches or a single flower. It blends well into small spaces such as an entryway or desk.
