■ PROFILE

Asanogama: Mayuko Ichino
Tamba ware is a ceramic tradition with over 800 years of history, passed down primarily in Tamba-Sasayama City, Hyogo Prefecture. After learning the craft at her family's Shozo Kiln, Mayuko Ichino established her own studio, Asanogama. Her style, characteristic of the younger generation, blends the rustic earth of Tamba with charming motifs of dots and flowers.

■ Recommended Combinations

By coordinating pieces from the same kiln, you can create a charming and cohesive table setting.
