Tamba ware is pottery with over 800 years of history, primarily inherited in Tamba Sasayama City, Hyogo Prefecture. Mayuko Ichino, who presides over Asano Kiln, studied pottery at her family's Shozo Kiln before going independent and establishing Asano Kiln. Her style is characterized by a youthful approach, adding adorable polka dot patterns to the rustic Tamba clay. This time, we introduce a small plate with charming wavy edges.
This playful plate features wavy edges all around, with colorful dots scattered like confetti. Amidst the matte white texture, a subtle hint of the clay's nuance peeks through, creating a rustic and lovely atmosphere.
You can choose from three types with different polka dot arrangements. Even if you collect the same series, you can enjoy a variety of expressions.
With a size of approximately 15.5cm, it's a versatile plate that can be used as a serving plate or for presenting baked goods and desserts.
